Day one in Nicaragua

The weather is beautiful and so is the countryside. We arrived after dark last night, so it was truly a wonderful sight to see all the green vegetation and beautiful blue sky.

Breakfast was a pancake feast. The tub of country crock spread was so big, Joy Anna called it Paula Deen sized. We had watermelon with the pancakes. We all thought it was orange juice, but we decided it wasn't. Of course, there no consensus as to what it actually was.

We went to First Baptist Church for worship. The building was packed. They were trying out a new interpreter. He was young and made us smile. When the pastor would get animated, he would try to do the same.
